Republic Day Celebration
Updated: Jan 31, 2022
Republic Day is celebrated on January 26 every year to remember the day when the Constitution of India came into effect after India gained independence after a very long freedom struggle. Although schools in India have a holiday on Republic Day, students come to school and celebrate this national day by hoisting the National Flag. The event began at 8:20 am with the hoisting of the Indian National Flag by the Chief Guest of the day Dr. Shridhar Kulkarni, in the presence of the Secretary Pradip Alurkar, Director Amrut Kulkarni and Pratibha Rajput, Headmaster Hirekodi, followed by the National Anthem. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood.
